Known throughout the profession and to colleagues and clients as Cliff.  He has over 35 years of experience in Law.

Throughout his career Cliff has worked locally and was formerly a Partner in Smith & Tetley Solicitors, Ashton-under-Lyne, leaving to set up his own Practice and thereafter joining Rogerson Galvin Solicitors, Ashton-under-Lyne and Denton, as a Partner in the firm.

Rogerson Galvin Solicitors amalgamated with Sleigh, Son & Booth Solicitors in 2018 whereupon Cliff became a Partner based at the Denton Office of Sleigh, Son & Booth.  Specialising in Wills, Probate, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney and all aspects of Private Client work relating to the administration of Estates.

Cliff has built up a loyal client base.

Cliff has acquired a wealth of knowledge and experience over three decades in Practice in the Law and advises clients in a friendly approachable and highly professional manner.

Cliff is highly regarded within the profession and is dedicated to providing the highest standard of service to his clients.

Joanne has been employed by the firm since 2012 and heads our Conveyancing Department dealing with all aspects of residential conveyancing.  With over 28 years’ experience Joanne is a qualified Licensed Conveyancer with a wealth of knowledge and loyal client following.

Joanne prides herself on ensuring that both herself and her team build up a good rapport with all clients, keep clients updated throughout the transaction at each and every stage to ensure each transaction goes through as smoothly and swiftly as possible.

Our team are recognised for the standard of our conveyancing service with the award of the Law Society’s Conveyancing Quality Scheme mark (CQS).

Droylsden Office.

Andrew is an Associate Solicitor based at our Droylsden office and deals with all aspects of Private Client work.

Andrew studied law at Lancaster University before completing his law degree in Manchester. He undertook his training contract at a local high street practice in Tameside and qualified as a Solicitor in 2014. He has specialised solely in Wills, Trusts and Probate work since qualification. He has worked at a full-service law firm based in South Manchester before joining Sleigh, Son & Booth Solicitors in 2016.

Andrew has experience in the following:

• Will preparation (including asset protection),
• Estate Administrations (including high value taxable Estates),
• Trusts (lifetime trusts and asset protection trusts),
• Lasting Power of Attorney and Court of Protection applications
• Inheritance Tax Planning.

Andrew is personable and is able to provide clients with clear advice tailored to meet their needs.

Away from work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family and two young children.

Hyde Office.

Lewis is an Associate Solicitor at our Hyde Office and is responsible for all Private Client matters. His area of expertise include Wills, Trusts, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Court of Protection, Probate and Administration of Estates.

Lewis qualified as a Solicitor in 2017 and joined Booth Ince and Knowles in 2020. Prior to working at the firm Lewis has legal experience both pre and post qualification working in Manchester law firms and in local high street practice.

Lewis was shortlisted as Trainee Solicitor of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards 2017 and won Legal Professional of The Year at the Manchester Young Talent Awards 2019 for his private client law work and elderly client care.

Hyde Office.

Ailsa is an Associate Solicitor at our Hyde Office.

Ailsa deals with residential and commercial transactions including:

– new builds;

– shared ownership;

– commercial leases acting for both landlords and tenants;

– residential & commercial property sales and purchases;

– business purchase agreements; and

– tenancy agreements.

Ailsa qualified as a solicitor in 2019 and has acted for a wide range of clients including first time buyers, property developers, high net worth individuals and SME’s.

Ailsa enjoys meeting and developing relationships with clients and ensuring that her clients receive a professional and efficient level of service throughout every transaction.

Nicole brings a wealth of experience to her role as a Paralegal in our Private Client Department, where she specialises in various aspects of Private Client Law, including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, Trusts, and Court of Protection matters. With a keen eye for detail and a genuine commitment to serving our clients’ needs, Nicole is an integral part of our team.

Nicole plays a crucial role in assisting Partner, Cliff Parsons with his files, ensuring that our clients receive comprehensive support and guidance throughout their legal journey.

Having worked in the legal profession in the Denton area since 2011, Nicole possesses an in-depth understanding of the local legal landscape and its clientele. Her experience and familiarity with the area enable her to provide tailored solutions that address the unique needs of our clients effectively.

Vicky has worked for Sleigh Son & Booth since 2014 and heads up our Conveyancing Team at our Denton office.

With over 25 years’ experience in the residential property market, despite our Denton offices being in a busy shopping area, Vicky’s client base is mainly built up from returning clients and clients recommended by others.

Vicky prides herself on what many clients have described her as, “Professional yet Personal”.

Kelly has been with our firm since 2018 and is a valued member of the Conveyancing team with over 20 years’ experience in this field including approximately 5 years as a Licensed Conveyancer.  Kelly works closely to assist Joanne to ensure matters run smoothly from start to finish.

Emma joined the firm in September 2022 as a Legal Assistant to Lewis Thompson within the Private Client Department.

Emma works alongside Lewis assisting him with his case load and providing secretarial support to the department on a daily basis.

Emma has over thirty years of legal experience as a legal assistant and has worked both in high street and city centre practices her experience spans from Private Client, Litigation, Matrimonial, Criminal and Family Law.

Olivia joined the firm in April 2021 as a Conveyancing Assistant to Zara Morgan.

Olivia enjoys working within the Residential Conveyancing Department as every transaction is unique and she learns something new everyday.

Lisa deals with all sale transactions, taking them through to exchange & completion and assists with purchase completions when necessary.

Lisa has over 23 years experience in Conveyancing and enjoys meeting clients and providing the best service she can to make transactions run as smooth as possible from the outset to completion.
